  • Dear Dr. Crilley,

I hope you enjoyed your vacation. I state this in the past tense because I have no doubt that you will not read this until your return. I also wanted to let you know that even though I (we) do not comment on all your blogs, they are read and appreciated.

For the rest of you out there that are missing something to read and blog about, consider these things taking place before us now.

The now almost three week old war with Hezbollah (radical Islamists with roots in Syria and Iran).

The first round breakdown of negociations for a cease fire between Irael and Lebanon (actually shot down by the US).

I read three unrelated articles on various news websites yesterday. The number 144,000 kept appearing. None of the articles were related to the bible.

Article on CNN website posted 07/26/06 - In Ireland, a construction crew unearthed a bible in a peat bog. The bible was opened to Psalm 83 ( http://www.gracethrufaith.com/bread-from-heaven/psalm-83 ). It is being called a miracle find as it shouldn't have survived in a peat bog to begin with, and that it was spotted and saved before being destroyed while excavation was underway. See story http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/07/25/ireland.psalms.ap/index.html

Have you ever heard of MEFTA (Middle East Free Trade Agreement)?
And why is the US pushing it so hard? Israeli's don't want it. Why?

Why are there members of our own congress saying that we are already in the middle of WW III?

I'm not a doom and gloom advocate. However, I do believe there are some amazing things happening in the world today. I myself intend to keep my eyes wide open and an ear to the ground.

  • Sorry - it appears that the link to the CCN Ireland story was cut off. I have inserted a break in hopes that it will show.
